Serving as a Senior Pastor in the Sky Lake area, Jesús has experienced firsthand the needs of that community. He’s been able to serve the community with not only emotional care but spiritual care as well. His motivation for wanting to be more involved with local government was to be able to contribute to providing essential services, jobs, youth educational counseling, family crisis intervention and homelessness relief to those in need. He’s also hosted seminars in community centers and churches to assist hundreds of families to avoid home foreclosure.
PUBLIC POLICY
Jesús has worked in several governmental initiatives at the local and national levels. Just recently, Jesús was invited to the White House as a Hispanic Leader representing Central Florida. The meeting with the White House cabinet members addressed initiatives and policies affecting the Hispanic communities in our area. He is frequently invited by media to participate as a political analyst and real estate advisor on local issues affecting Central Florida. Jesús is committed to be the strong voice representing the constituents of District 48 at the House of Representatives.

With an extensive background in business and local development, Jesús Martínez has received several awards and recognition for his accomplishments in the real estate industry. He has served as an advisor for non-profit organizations, small businesses who have relocated to Central Florida, startup companies as well as with mortgage lending. He has also worked with interdisciplinary groups assisting new business owners and family workers.
